PCWSAT108 - SMU SAT Strategy Boot Camp
Course Description
Whether you are looking for a last-minute boost before your SAT test date or you need to kickstart your longer-term study plan, build your strategy to approach your college entrance exam with confidence. While some colleges and universities are waiving standardized test scores, many still use scores to determine merit scholarships. SMU’s experienced instructors present information in manageable units, focusing on each component of the exam, giving you the skills needed to approach questions.
The SAT tests students' skills in evidence-based reading and writing and math. The test aims to provide colleges and scholarship organizations with a common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. Students typically take the SAT during their high school years, with many taking it in their junior or senior year. A major update to the SAT launches in March 2024 with significant changes to format and questions while also transitioning to digital access. This boot camp content is updated to address the new SAT.
